The Strategic Infrastructure Office (SIO) includes the Real Property and Infrastructure Planning and Campus Planning Groups. SIO plans and realizes infrastructure revitalization and investments to Lab infrastructure in partnership with the Project Management Office (PMO), Projects & Infrastructure Modernization Division (PIMD), and Facilities Division.
Maintaining LBNL’s ability to deliver world class science and preparing to continue that legacy into the future, SIO oversees stewardship of the Laboratory’s physical infrastructure. SIO actively manages LBNL’s infrastructure strategy through involvement with Senior Lab Leadership and collaboration with research areas across the Lab.
