Real Property and Infrastructure Planning (RPIP) services provide a systematic approach to developing an infrastructure renewal plan.
Functions & Responsibilities:
- Manage the real property assets data and administer & coordinate reports for DOE and the Lab Directorate
- Conduct facility condition & functional assessment surveys and manage asset information database platforms
- Lead asset deferred maintenance, repair needs, and modernization categorization and prioritization processes to drive capital project planning
- Manage DOE’s corporate real property database – Facility Data Collection System (AFDCS)
- Manage DOE’s environmental liabilities management database – Active Facility Data Collection System (AFDCS) in coordination with LBNL’s EH&S division
- Manage land parcel lease data in conjunction with real property developments on campus land, and updates to the UCB-DOE prime contract, in coordination with the LBNL and UCB Real Estate offices
- Manage and implement real property asset management directives from DOE’s Office of Asset Management (MA-50) and Office of Science (SC)
- Coordinate asset developments & retirements, asset financial & accounting metrics, and asset data parameters globalization with various LBNL divisions & functions
